Manon Tolhuisen studied Technical Medicine at the University of Twente. Her master’s specializations was Medial Imaging and Intervention and Tissue Engineering. During her master she had the opportunity to be an intern at the Radboud University Medical Center, Meander Hospital and Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Hospital. She graduated in 2016 on the development of automated objective surgical planning for skull reconstruction in pediatric patients with craniosynostosis at the department of pediatric neurosurgery at the Radboud University Medical Center. In 2016 she started her PhD project, which is part of the CONTRAST trials, under the supervision of Prof. Majoie, Dr. Henk Marquering and Dr. Matthan Caan.
